AMERICAN SPIKENARD

This beautiful member of the Ginseng family grows to impressive shrub like dimensions but is a true perennial, dying back to the ground each fall and emerging anew in the spring. Spikes of tiny whitish flowers in summer become laden with burgundy berries in fall.
