This Native flowering shrub is a must have for any garden. It has a long bloom period in the Summer that is delightfully fragrant and puts on quite a show for all. The flowers are an excellent nectar source for Butterflies, Hummingbirds and especially bees. Birds and small mammals also utilize this shrub for food and cover. As if that was not enough, Summersweet has a very wide soil and sun tolerance and can be planted almost anywhere.
