ERAGROSTIS SPECTABILIS

Purple Love Grass emerges in spring with low blue green foliage. In summer there is an airy mass of rosy purplish flowers. The flowers become beige seeds in fall and the foliage turns bronze and red. This native grass stays compact in stature and spreads over time to cover ground. Eragrostis provides seeds and cover for birds.
