Description

This gorgeous Hibiscus has the significant stature of a shrub but is in fact a vigorous perennial. Scarlet Rose Mallow does best in full sun in average to moist soil but will tolerate a little shade. The flowers are bright scarlet and combined with the lovely buds, seed pods, and foliage, Hibiscus coccineus puts on a beautiful show. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and native bees and pollinators frequent the flowers.
