Description
SWAMP MILKWEED
This Native perennial has important wildlife value. Most notably, Milkweed species are the sole larval host for the Monarch and Queen Butterflies. It is also an important nectar source for many butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. The flowers are showy and fragrant. This plant is also edible, medicinal and can be used to make twine and stuffing for pillows.
