LADY FERN

In full to part shade and average to moist soil, Lady Fern will happily grow, spreading slowly over time by rhizomes. With enough consistent moisture, sunny conditions will be tolerable for this native fern and in shade she can deal with relatively dry environments. Lacy fronds, upright and arching with contrasting stems of reddish hues, lend delicate texture to a landscape planting. Ecological benefits include cover for wildlife and larval hosting to two moth species.
