Description
WINECUPS
This sprawling mat froming groundcover has a very long bloom period. Also known as Poppymallow, this plant develops a deep taproot and is very drought tolerant. It is a larval host for the Gray Hairstreak and Checkered Skippers. Bees are known to frequent the flowers. This plant is readily eaten by many mammals and can be used as food and medicine by humans as well.
