Description
COMMON WITCHHAZEL
This large Native shrub or small tree has a beautiful structure and tolerates a wide range of conditions. It blooms when few others are and has good fall color. The Ruffed Grouse, Northern Bobwhite, Ring Necked Pheasant and White Tailed Deer will feed on this plant. The fruit is often consumed by Beaver and Rabbits. This plant has a long history of medicinal use.
