SNEEZEWEED

Sneezeweed grows in full to part sun in moist to wet soil conditions. Red Shades has blooms of a beautiful burgundy color edged with yellow. The toothed petals surround a brownish center disk. Cutting back in spring helps Helenium stay upright and encourages denser growth. Pollinators and butterflies are fed by the nectar and pollen. Seeds are sought by birds.
