SHRUBBY ST JOHN’S WORT

This small Native shrub has many redeeming qualities. It has a wide soil tolerance and a striking Summer bloom. It attracts pollinators of all types to it’s pollen rich flowers. The Gray Hairstreak and about 20 other species of butterflies and moths use Hypericum as a larval host plant. St John’s Wort has been used extensively for medicinal purposes.
