PIN OAK

Pin Oak has been widely planted as a street and landscape tree. Naturally growing in floodplains and bottomlands, Quercus palustris appreciates but does not require moist conditions. This native oak has a rounded crown, the bottom branches point downward, and has red to burgundy fall color. Oak trees support 519 species of butterflies and moths in our area.
