WILLOW OAK

Willow Oak grows easily in average to wet soils in full sun but tolerates light shade. This native tree boasts attractive willow like foliage and in maturity, bears abundant acorns. Like all oaks, Quercus phellos is a keystone species in the landscape ecosystem, supporting more than 500 species of Lepidoptera and providing many birds and mammals with high quality food and shelter.
