Description

Coast Azalea prefers consistently moist but well drained soil conditions, not wet and not dry. Part shade is preferable, sun can be tolerated in cool moist locations. The showy fragrant flowers attract butterflies, pollinators, and hummingbirds. Native azaleas host 53 species of butterflies and moths including the Giant Silk Moths.
