Description
An adaptable goldenrod that is happy in full sun to part shade in dry to average soils, Blue Stem Goldenrod is clump forming non-aggressive spreader. The arching stems are laden with golden flowers in fall, providing a late season source of pollen and nectar for butterflies and native bees. Like all goldenrods, Solidage caesia is a generous larval host plant and the seeds feed birds.
