Description

This lovely suckering deciduous shrub is native to wet meadows and fields. Pink to rose flowers bloom in summer in steeple like spikes. Flowers benefit butterflies and pollinators. Steeple Bush is larval host to 84 species of butterflies and moths. Spreading by suckers the shrub can colonize in a range of soils, and provide erosion control.
