BLUE WOOD ASTER
WHITE WOOD ASTER
White Wood Aster’s heart shaped leaves appear early in spring promising a show of starry white flowers in fall. This native aster is an adaptable beauty who spreads by seeds and will even grow in dry shade. Native pollinators depend on asters for pollen and nectar. Butterflies and moths count them as friendly host plants as well.

CHEROKEE SEDGE
Cherokee Sedge grows easily in moist soils in full to part sun, and can also do well in average soil in part shade. Shiny, narrow, deep green leaves can stay evergreen, and the compact arching clumps are slowly spreading by rhizomes to form dense yet light textured colonies. This native sedge makes an excellent groundcover and provides good erosion control and cover for wildlife.
